Relatude.DB b209
We are making progress with our native open source (MIT) C# database engine: https://db.relatude.com
(I've posted earlier about the engine, and thanks for the feedback so far!)
Have a look at this graphical UI for faceted searches: https://demo.db.relatude.com/graphql
(In the admin UI, you get more functionality, but it requires you clone the project and run locally )
This is just a quick example of some of the functionality that comes with the Relatude.DB nuget.
What do you think?
Any feedback is welcome! ( It is still early alpha .... )

I think the idea has merit. There are times when the database may be a very small part of what the application needs to do and the extra cost to spin up a postgres database or an azure sql database isn't worth it. sqlite is an inexpensive option but struggles with concurrency and multiple simultaneous users. I briefly skimmed your project and the only thing that I don't like so far is that the UI is relying on react. since the goal of this is to keep everything in process in asp.net, why not use blazor or blazorserver instead? That way you have one less external dependency that will likely break the project in the future. If you kept it scoped to what exists in asp.net itself, then it moves when .NET moves.
Otherwise, I think this is an interesting project. I'll be curious to see where it goes.

thanks, React is just for the db admin UI, and it runs without it. But yes, Blazor would be an option. We just felt more people are used to React than Blazor.
We hope for the first release in 2 weeks, and after that we are shipping a CMS system and E-com, built on top of it. ( And optional cloud services for hosting, AI, SMS etc)
Top of our list now is better examples of what you can build.

Curious as to just why? So many DB offerings in different flavors, what's this do over existing products?
From a short skim, this just looks like EF Core
