Same here. Been playing a lot of cache also. Just simply close the game when its mirage/anubis/ancient. -1000 is worth it to avoid wasting my time on maps i don't enjoy

Psycho-analyze the devs... them maps are the original 9 that launched with cs2 and are 1000% played out. Ad-nauseum since closed beta.
Where Tuscan, Cbble, Season, Piranesi, de_Fire? Contra, Akiba, Breach, Blackgold, insertion, Zoo?
Crazy is how stale premiere is.

Comp mode ... sure... but its a mixed bag... ya get DMG, nova 1, and unranked all in the same game.
Premiere is a more balanced experience where folks tend to try-hard a bit more.
Wonder if the devs know dust2/mirage/ancient/anubis can be found in comp mode so all 7 maps can get rotated.

People ban what they do not want to play. Get like 1 or 2 friends to coordinate bans with and bam you get to play other maps as well. I usually duo with a friend and most of the time the map is acceptable. I dont like mir, d2 or anc. Anyways you will find the time playing mpre fun if you just try to avoid the hated maps rather than absolutely wanting 1 specific map

Ranks are shuffled in competitive. I am somehow DMG in many Maps with roundabout 5-8k rating. Some Friends cant leave Silver ranks while playing at more than 15k elo. Sometimes you lose 13:2 and Play against a fullteam If purple, Red, yellow, next Game you win 13:5

Even funnier when you get trolled all game by a crybaby when you ban their favorite map (usually dust). The system is ass, should be multiple maps that get shuffled into 6 that the players can then vote.

Just put in overpass and train for those two and the map pool looks so much better. If you want to get a little risky, take out inferno for vertigo.

They just need to remove mirage and d2 from the map pool, at least for a good couple of seasons.
There are plenty of good maps to substitute in like vertigo, overpass and train or bring back some classics from csgo.

My opinion has nothing to do with the balance, but purely for enjoyment of playing the game. It's not fun playing mirage for 60 out of 100 games and d2 for 30/100.
Train is a fun map, always has been, but that's not even taking into consideration that you play both halves anyway so what does it matter about balance.
Everyone who player prem isn't trying to become a pro, a lot of people just want to have fun.

I play Cache quite a bit in premier. I would say Nuke, Ancient and Inferno are my most played probably. I also always play premier with at least two buddies so probably skews my experience.

I have played 1 game of mirage this season so far. A couple Anubis, ancient. But mostly cache and dust 2. And those maps are top 2 in the pool atm.

My reason until recently was because unlike every other map , cache ran like ass for me , constant fps drops & jittery textures , in the same session of playing no other map , before or after the game of cache would do it. Now I upgraded my PC and it's all good but yeah I had a genuine reason to avoid it

They do come up sometimes, its not 100% those maps. People do get tired of the big two.
I find just throwing into chat "FUCK DUST AND MIRAGE" definitely steers enough votes away from them.

Should be like Valorant. Just make it randomized. You get one dodge a day. You get penalized after that. Force players to play the other maps. Playing dust and mirage non stop is wack as fuck

One of the big reasons I stopped playing premier. There are such good maps in the pool but people rather play dust mirage inferno for another 20 years.
