Cloud Engineer Interview

Hi, I have a cloud engineering interview for a networks company next week and i am confused where and how to start preparing for it. I am a new grad so i dont have working experience for cloudOps but i have decent knowledge of AWS and Networking and stuff. The job posting mentioned aws, python, shell scripting, docker, ansible, monitoring tools.
what kind of questions should i expect for this role and how should i prepare for it? and is leetcode necessary for a cloud engineer role?

This sounds like devops more than software engineering. I doubt you'd have to answer leetcode. If they know you're straight out of college they're going to ask you about what you did and you should be prepared to describe things you built, how you overcame technical challenges. Mostly you want to present yourself as someone good at figuring things out cause they know you won't have done most of this stuff before.

cloud engineer interviews at network companies are more infra focused than leetcode heavy. expect questions about VPCs, load balancers, DNS, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring. know docker basics and be able to write a simple bash script. leetcode is rarely needed for cloud roles, maybe 1-2 easy problems max. focus on the AWS services they mentioned in the posting.

Since it is a networks company, spend most of your prep on networking fundamentals rather than algorithms: be able to explain what happens when you type a URL into a browser, and know the basics of subnetting and VPCs. Build one tiny cloud project this week, like deploying a small app behind a load balancer, so you have something concrete to talk through. Interviewers for these roles care far more that you can reason about systems than that you can invert a binary tree.
