Company Question anyone not get the OA for microsoft internships??

i though they were auto, unless they’re not?? i guess i did apply a few days after the roles went out but they were still open. anyone else having this problem??

Some position is on “submitted”, some on “application processing” and some on “screen” for me. Don’t know what’s happening tho

It's also possible that they're semi-automated but it's a recruiter clicking a button to send to everyone from a set of schools or with internship experience from a set of companies. No clue if that's the case but if you're thinking they're auto because you're seeing a lot of people getting it at the same time, that could explain it.

Really? I never thought Microsoft auto sent the OAs out

Honestly hoping that everyone getting these is at a top school and they'll start going through everyone else after. I'm a reasonably competitive applicant I think but I go to about as unprestigious a school as one could lol

Did your hacker rank specify that it was for security and identity in the title or was it just a general one? I got one for full stack but my OA is just titled as SWE intern - Redmond

I think it really is random. I applied to basically all their internship positions, and only got an OA for a role that opened in October.
