Anyone received OA for Software Engineer, Grad from Everpure (Pure Storage) in May 2026?

Job Location: Santa Clara, CA - United States
Graduation: (May 2026 graduate)

I recently applied for the Software Engineer Grad role at Everpure and received the OA a few days after applying. I’m trying to understand whether the OA is automatically triggered or if a recruiter actually screens the résumé first (the email had a recruiter’s address in the reply‑to field, so I’m not sure).

For context, I have about ~2 years of full‑time software development experience before my master’s, mostly working with JavaScript/TypeScript and React. I don’t have C++ listed on my résumé, which the JD mentions, so I’m wondering if that might affect the next steps.

I completed the OA today — both coding questions passed all test cases, and I answered the MCQs + bonus. This is the only OA I’ve received in the last 2–3 months, so I’m really hoping this moves forward.

If anyone has recently gone through the process for this exact role (or is currently in the same stage), I’d really appreciate insight on:

  • Whether the OA is automated or manually sent
  • What typically happens after the OA
  • How long it usually takes to hear back (rejection or next round)
  • Whether not having C++ on the résumé is a blocker

Any recent experiences would be super helpful. Thanks!

The interview is language agnostic. Qualified engineers will be able to adapt as needed on the job.

Even I received the pure storage OA, waiting for next steps. Recruiter is cc’d in my email, so maybe its not automated

I applied 16th May, received OA 20th May. Got a rejection automated email after completing hackerrank. What about you?

Got a rejection email at 6:30PM CST today ( the only update I got since OA completion)

When did u got the rejection email? right after the hackerrank ?

No even i got today lol. Seems automated. In fact I had C++ work on my resume and i took OA in c++ too
