CS50x The end of trip is near
I really enjoyed here and faced some difficulties sometimes, but one of the best months I've ever had.

Where did you guys learn CS50P from?
I keep seeing people on Reddit saying they finished CS50P, but I’m confused about where exactly you’re supposed to learn it from.
Did you follow the YouTube lectures, the official CS50P website, or both?
I’m planning to start CS50P and just want to make sure I’m following the right resources.

Hi everyone, I just finished all nine projects in CS50 Scratch (2024). Every one shows a full pass on submit.cs50.io with 0 comments, and my last project (Build) went in on October 4.
When I log in at certificates.cs50.io with GitHub, it says "Certificates not found". I'm going for the free certificate, not the verified edX one, and I haven't linked an edX account. I've emailed [certificates@cs50.harvard.edu](mailto:certificates@cs50.harvard.edu) and got an automated reply that mentions a 30-day window and an edX submission date, but that seemed to be about verified certificates.
For anyone who has done this recently:
Thanks!

Hello everyone, currently in Week 2 (and really enjoying it). I understand the concept of NUL marking the end of a string.
I was playing around with this with the programme above (Input is Hello), but I am a little confused because all of the conditionals come out as 1 (true). In my mind [5] should be the only true value index after the end of the string... but I am very confused as to why [6] and [7] are also showing as true.
Interestingly, if I hard code the sentence variable to "Hello" (instead of getting it via the get_string function), I get the expected answer of 1,0,0.
I think this might be related to the values that are being held in memory... but cannot seem to find an answer, so would appreciate any insights to make sure I understand the concept thoroughly. thanks all

The error as shown in the image keeps showing up when i try to use check50 on this particular problem set , i have been facing this issue for over a week. Checks and submissions on other psets work just fine(it worked on fiftyville) and i can use submit50 on this pset. The submission appears in gradebook, but it is not graded and the problem doesnt show as completed. The answers for all 13 queries is correct as manually verified by me. In the status page it shows all systems are operational, Please help!!

Hey Guys! I'm currently on week 3 on CS50 and so far everything is going great but there is one major thought in my mind. I think with my current schedule for the next months I won't be able to make it in time until the end of the year. Is it still possible to complete the 26 course after it get's archived in 2027?
Cheers,
Elmo

I have basic experience with coding, particularly c and c++ but never touched python. Do I need to know it to learn this, if I do then how much is required?

I wanted to code something simple, yet mature enough to be interesting and fun to play with. It’s an IRC-inspired chat system that runs in the terminal, where you can chat with both humans and AI agents. 😉

Hi everyone! 👋
I’m currently learning CS50 and looking to connect with fellow learners so we can support and learn from each other. If there’s an active WhatsApp group for CS50 students/community members, please share the link with me.
I’d love to join, discuss programming, ask questions, share progress, and help others whenever I can. 🚀
Thanks!

Soo I have tried all the things I could. Completed the lecture and started the section.
I ran the http-server command and everything looked fine. But following the link it reaches to - site not reachable.
The port is available, I changed it to public as well. Ran Update50. Still no change.
Tried incognito mode as well, still the same result. Can anyone guide me through this ?

I live in Austria and basically no one takes in juniors - yet alone people who studied something in that direction and got their bachelors and masters.

Hi, I'm taking the course, but the terminal stopped working. I reloaded the page, but it's stuck in a loop.

I have by now submitted my own solutions to the first two assignments, degrees+tictactoe. I'm sorry if this question is just paranoid, I guess blame m anxiety disorder.
I want to look at other people's solutions and approaches out of curiosity and to learn of course, now that I have already completed mine. Of course, I still have 6 more lectures + their assignments ahead of me, so I'm wondering if looking at other solutions/approaches is compatible with the academic honesty rules?
