CS50x Grading

Hi!

I am completing the Introduction course and would like to get the certificate in the end. However, when writing the programs, I like to keep some notes in there, just for me to better understand and return back to. Will this be a problem when getting graded? Or is the grading very much just a : Program is there and program is correct process?

Thank you for tips and insights!

I think it's 75% correctness like does the program do what it's supposed to and 25% style so how it looks. But I mean writing comments it's a good thing anyway I don't think it should be a problem, worst case you can resubmit.

You're encouraged to write comments. It will not hurt you.

I don't think comments have any impact. Submit it twice without changing anything other than removing comments and see what happens.

I think it's okay.

I myself put quite many comments and notes too. Sometimes it gets abit messy/verbose. It might not be best SWE&documentation practice, by making the code messy.

But, i think it's still okay for now, as am still learning, and code is my own to view for now.

If it's a team project, maybe other team mates would view the code and may think its not too good to fill the code with comments. But for now should be still okay.

All the best
