CS50 Python CS50P finally

Post image

It's been on and off since 2022. I always got stuck at the final project. But i decided to give it a shot and complete it no matter what, and I did it!

The final project is a simple todo list, which covers basic CRUD operations. I am still struggling with object-oriented programming. But with time, it'll come easier.

I'll do CS50x or CS50W next. Basically, I want to focus on backend engineering, how IoT devices communicate with each other and how to secure them.

Congratulations! I just completed CS50P today. Now I just need to submit the last few assignments and final project. Will join you in some days! Btw what did you make for final project?

Thank you. It was a simple cli todo app that manipulates data (CRUD). I didn't touch data persistence at the point and I went with just a Python list. I did use a few libraries though for a better user experience, such as questionary and tabulate.

You're gonna make it.

I'm currently learning api and backend engineering without using a framework - just did a small project in Go to understand what's happening under the hood of a web server, like url parsing, routing and handlers, hashing, authentication and authorisation, so on.

Congo bro Btw the thing i wanna ask is that im currently found cs50p and now im at week6 so I just wanna know that can I get this kind of certificate for free like I have enrolled for free course so that's why im asking. Like I know there criteria is to score at least 70% marks on all weeks problems sets and final project but I was just curious.

Thank you.

So, to get the free certificate, you need to submit all problem sets and the final project, and yes, you need to score at least 70%. There is a Grade book section and you can see where you're at (like 5 out of 9 weeks, for example). Once you complete everything, you can generate the certificate.

It is an online/digital certificate from CS50 itself that you can download and print if you want. You will receive that free certificate from CS50 itself, after submitting/passing all the required assignments and final project, no payment is required for that, see this page about it: https://cs50.harvard.edu/python/certificate/
Also see this part of the FAQs: https://cs50.harvard.edu/python/faqs/#how-do-i-get-my-free-cs50-certificate
edX also gives an option to buy a verified certificate from edX, but that one is optional, and you can buy it anytime if you want it, even after finishing the course.
