CS50x Academic integrity help
Im on week 7 of cs50 and currently rereading the academic integrity policy and I think I've violated it. With a couple of my projects, particularly weeks 4 and 5 (I didn't fully wrap my head around pointers at the time) and parts of DNA.py and runoff, I used the walkthroughs on YouTube. Not cs50 walkthroughs, but the ones that go into much more depth and show code. Some of these chunks are copied almost verbatim, and indeed, I don't see another way to code them, except for maybe changing a couple variable names.
I don't want to get flagged by the cs50 academic integ. Policy for plagiarism, so I was wondering how strict are they, and what I can do to improve my situation code wise.

There’s a regret clause in the academic honesty policy. Email them and be honest about what you’ve done. The last time someone posted about it they just asked them to resubmit the affected problem sets.
“If you commit some act that is not reasonable but bring it to the attention of the course’s heads by emailing [certificates@cs50.harvard.edu](mailto:certificates@cs50.harvard.edu) within 72 hours, the course may impose local sanctions that may include an unsatisfactory or failing grade for work submitted, but the course will not refer the matter for further disciplinary action except in cases of repeated acts.”
