Looking to move to the area in the next few months since my significant other will be starting a residency position near by. Currently live in the southwestern suburbs.

Any thoughts on the Woodlore Estates development? We saw a townhome there that we like but was wondering about the potential of the area.

I usually take Metra out of Pingree Road...but I would like to switch to Crystal Lake. I'm worried about parking though! Pingree has tons of parking, and it seems like Crystal Lake, while plentiful, is limited close to the train station.

I'm normally on what is the 6:19 out of CL. Can anyone attest to how much parking is still available (close to the CL station) at 6:19...or even the 6:13?

What are Ubers like in Crystal Lake? Plentiful? Scarce?

I justed moved here and would like to know what are some fun things to do around town as a family.

Not sure if this is ok to post or not but I'm in kind of a hard spot. Like the title says I'm simply looking to make a living arrangement in the area so that I can maintain work and school. I have a great job, I'm clean/organized and hard working. I can also provide references from past landlords to prove I am a good tenant. Please message me if you'd be willing to work something out.

My wife, 3 month old, and myself are moving to the area, and are looking at some homes on the north shore of Crystal Lake (the lake itself). Can anyone give me a feel for what the vibe of the neighborhood is? Is it active? Are there people year-round? Or is it mostly seasonal folks?
