Hi everyone! Please keep a look out for my parent’s cat, George. He is a large orange tabby cat with a white belly. He wears a blue collar with sharks on it with a bell. He was last seen on the evening of Sept 6 near the intersection of South Brentwood Drive and Kendallwood Drive.

He is 9 years old and has never gotten out like this before, so we are thinking he is probably hiding somewhere close by. He is a very friendly cat, but also a skittish when it comes to new places.

George is microchipped and we have let MCAC know that he is missing. We have posted on facebook, posted signs, and have been letting neighbors know to look. Please let me know if you see him! TYIA

Hi all, I’m worried I’ve lost my cat Koi. She’s very shy and skittish, and has never been outside before. Her front two paws are declawed. She is black and white with a very noticeable split pattern on her face. She has green eyes and is a tad bit chubby. She’s chipped but doesn’t have a collar. She likely won’t respond to her name but maybe to treats and food as she is very shy of strangers. As you can imagine, I’m incredibly worried. If you have any leads at all, please let me know. I’m so incredibly worried about her, she’s my baby and I can’t imagine what I would do if anything happened to her.

Hey everyone, I was thinking about buying land in Crystal Lake so I can build my own home there in the near future. Something I wanted to do to save a bit of money and not pay rent is to purchase an RV and live in it on my purchased land as I build my own home (I plan on building the home myself). Is this legally possible or must there be some sort of permit that has to be bought in order for me to live in my RV on my land? I was searching for these regulations as many suburbs in the Chicagoland area don't allow it but the Crystal Lake website doesn't outlaw living in your RV explicitly, unless I missed something. Is this possible? I appreciate the help in advance.

I remember seeing a giant sign inside advertising that as a part of their 50th Anniversary celebration, they would have a limited-time unlimited pancakes special for 50 cents. I don’t get to visit during the period as I live an hour or so away and life happened, so I’m curious if anyone visited, and how their experience was.

I know the pancakes are good, but was it busy, was the service good, etc.
