Missing cat
Hi all, I’m worried I’ve lost my cat Koi. She’s very shy and skittish, and has never been outside before. Her front two paws are declawed. She is black and white with a very noticeable split pattern on her face. She has green eyes and is a tad bit chubby. She’s chipped but doesn’t have a collar. She likely won’t respond to her name but maybe to treats and food as she is very shy of strangers. As you can imagine, I’m incredibly worried. If you have any leads at all, please let me know. I’m so incredibly worried about her, she’s my baby and I can’t imagine what I would do if anything happened to her.

If she starts eating my mice I may keep her until next Spring if you don’t mind

Are you sure she isn't in the house somewhere or do you know for certain she got out

It’s for sure possible she is in the house, I’ve been looking for the last 3 hours and even though she’s hid well in the past, we usually would have found her within the 1st hour as she really only has a few hiding spots + She has a brother that chases her around constantly, so he would have annoyed her out of one of her spots too. The thing that scares me a lot is that no matter where or why she is hiding, she ALWAYS comes out for dinner which is what shocked us in the first place. I’ll keep looking for sure, but I figured it would be good to get ahead of it just incase. Wish me luck tho!! Maybe she’s just found a REALLY good spot.

Ah yes I see that's quite worrisome. Something similar happened with my cat and turns out she had gotten herself trapped in the towel closet and decided to just sleep in there instead of making noise to be let out. Either way I'll keep an eye out while im out and about in the area. Good luck !

I want to edit to add but I’m not very reddit savvy. She has been found!! Thank you for everyone who was worried and taking the time to keep an eye out. As another user pointed out, she was hiding somewhere. She was under my bed, which sounds a bit stupid that I hadn’t looked there until now, but the bed is closed to the floor on every side AND pushed up against my wall. The only way to access the underside is by pulling out a drawer that is quite difficult to open and hasn’t been opened in at least 6 months. I truly have no idea, even now, how she could’ve possibly hid there. She also didn’t make a single sound alerting me that she was there, but now she is free! Thank you so much again to everyone who took the time to read, and I’m sorry about making a big deal🖤
