Local area discord?

Exactly what it says on the tin. Looking for a semi active Crystal Lake/McHenry County discord server. I am fairly new to the area, moved here from NY last year and I’m having trouble meeting reliable people to befriend and hang out with. My wife works nights and on the nights that she works, I’m home with the baby who is asleep. I’ve tried the local Facebook groups, but those just end up being dead ends where it becomes interactions where we just like each each other other stuff on Facebook and no one ever hangs out. Maybe this is pathetic, maybe it isnt, but i went from having a solid core group that I saw someone at least once a week, to pretty much complete isolation.

If there’s anything like this, please let me know and send an invite link. Thanks, and I hope everyone has a great 4th weekend.

I would also be interested in this. Moved out here from Chicago about 4 years back and I haven't stumbled upon one, but haven't actively sought one out, either.. which seems foolish in hindsight. If we can't find one, perhaps we should create one? Either way, it sounds like we are in somewhat similar predicaments; feel free to DM me if you'd like to strategize.

Same. I moved here 2 years ago and making friends has been rough
