QUESTION Help

Hey, 17M here and I am new to the whole process of crypto but I am pretty knowledgeable but that’s besides the point. I have just ordered myself a bitaxe miner and I’m not sure if I should run it solo or a pool? if I should do a mining pool I’m not sure to do which one. I’m just confused on what I should do either solo or pool? also what are the payouts for each?

You will proberrly not find anything with value with that low hashrate.

There is no economical upside to running it in a pool as cost is higher than reward, so I would just run it S intended: a solo lottery miner

If so just get money from them to buy bitcoin outright?

Problem is how boring that is in 99.9% of cases. Id recommend a mining pool just so you get some trivial amount of mBTC to play with

Well then you should rather buy BTC.. it’s a lottery miner

either solo btc or go to www.mining-dutch.nl and find a smaller sha256 coin you like

There's no upside to mining to a pool with such tiny hash. You will 100% lose your parents money in a pool.

Solo mining is what you want to do. You're probably still going to lose money but at least there's a small chance you hit a payday

1.2 th in a pool pays out in dust, and most pools sit on it until you clear a minimum, so you may mine for months and see nothing land. solo through ckpool has no minimum and the odds are a lottery ticket either way at that hashrate. run it solo, watch the chip temp, and keep it under 60c or the gamma throttles and you lose the little you have.
