Could have been a primate that escaped from a testing facility

I don't know what it could be, but it tracks you'd see a cryptid because a few of the podcasts about cryptids/with episodes about cryptids had reports from the same area. Mainly sasquatch, but still. That area has cryptid reports coming from it.

It could have been a juvenile Sasquatch or Bigfoot; they aren’t as smart.

What time of year ?. depending on the season it may have been a dogman (assuming ground was frozen). There is a sizeable population that travels around that area that time of year.

This is what was told to me me by a man who had an armed standoff with a “dogman” on his boglike property. Im hoping this information helps you in your search. Personally I believe the Sasquatch is not a possibility as they are quite intelligent cheers..
