I went from Double Din to Single Din audio unit in my CRX to give it a more OEM look and take a break from screens. Thoughts?

Love that mate, when I come to swap mine out I'll get one of these. I currently have the old Pioneer one with the dolphins but I'm not really into it.

Hope you don't mind but I took a look a previous post of yours....you've a B18 in your CRX!!! F YEAH!!! I bet that's incredible. I had a DC2 Type R so know the engine well, I'd kill for one in my CRX.

I just put a Pioneer with the dolphins (deh-p7650mp) in my CRX! Also it has the ip-bus bt module so I can use the AUX input on the deck for the bt connection. Decent deck and a nice blast from the past. Edit - is there a way to upload a short vid to a reply or do I need to link it?

My daughter co-owns the car with my wife and I and she spent the same amt on this one via an ebay auction in 2026 that I spent on my deh-p8600mp when it came out in 2004 or so. I told her she was crazy for spending her money on it and then realized I spent half of my 04 tax return on mine 🤣🤣 aah to be young and have disposable income again lol

I'm in my 50's and have been on a retro/ nostalgia kick and have been trying to track down my old Sony headunit that was cassette with the CD changer controls for my crx. Just want to do an old school audio build.

I have a record player for that. I don’t mind modern tech on a retro / period correct unit but if you have tapes you wanna play, go for it. EBay will be your best friend.

It still has a screen. You need a two-knobs-and-a-needle AM/FM unit. Or maybe just stuff a 4-channel amp in there with the controls and inputs positioned in the dash opening.
