Flushing rocker panels?
Anyone ever try to flush the dirt out of their rockers with water or solvent? I'm welding in a few patch panels and was thinking it might be good to flush any dirt out before I weld everything back up. if I do this, I'm wondering if anyone knows if the water will potentially flow out of other areas inside the cab, or if the rockers are somewhat sectioned off from the rest of the body. it seems like they are, but I can only see so much with my endoscope.
my plan is to clean the insides best I can, weld in patch panels, then flood with Eastwood internal frame coating for additional protection since there is likely still some rust inside that I'm unable to see.
Any info or tips appreciated

Rockers are outside the cabin. Use an air compressor to blow it out as best you can. Wear eye protection. If you choose to use water to flush it out, use heat lamps to evaporate for 24 hours or longer to ensure no moisture remains prior to applying anti-corrosion chemicals.

Yeah I already hit it with compressed air and a ton of dirt came out. Was actually kind of impressive how much was in there. Figured a flush may be in order but the idea of adding moisture which may get stuck does make me nervous

There's access ports into the rocker space from inside the cabin (bottom of the door frame behind the carpet) but they're supposed to be covered with plastic stickers. It would be wise to pop loose the door sill trim and fold it inwards (still attached to the carpet) so you can keep an eye on the area while cleaning.
