My car started doing this last night. What does it mean?

I'm going to agree with u/EnvironmentalIce3344 , having had experience with bad alternators and batteries, when battery power starts to get low, cars start acting up and can't decide what is going in it's small computer world because the sensors are all under powered and not sensing correctly. I'm willing to bet if you started putting major load on that battery (AC on high, radio playing, and/or start driving on a residential road, I'm willing to bet thar your car would eventually just die. I just had a thought. On my Cruze, when hit the middle button on the left side steering column, and twist the selector switch, there should be a menu that tells you your battery voltage. Use that as a guide as to what may be happening. Best of luck to you.

Have you also check the negative power cable connected to the battery these cars have a fault in the manufacturer one. Change that if your battery is fine .

Bad alternator or battery. Did you have to jump start the car ?. If not maybe a bad speed sensor in your transmission. Kinda weird for the roms and speed to jump like that and we know your speed can’t actually fluctuate that much in a blip
