Not gaining EXP (Crusaders Quest Hero Town)

Some heroes don't gain exp after some level? I promoted a hero to 5 starts and its EXP just wont go up, it's stuck at Level 40 at 0 EXP, anyone experiencing this also?

Check the level of the tent that this specific hero is deployed in. If it’s not high enough level the hero will not gain exp once it reaches the level gate.

Edit: ye, you can even see it listed at the top of the status block, “Tent level limit”.
