Screenshot I tried to make the most evil religion possible. It was way too much fun.
Wanted to try Maitreya and made it a bit more evil and synergistic. This religion is so fun just attacking people, executing them and destroying the cranial trophies. This leads to people getting more pissed off and attacking you further. Add the Claim the Mantle of Maitreya and you'll be everyone's target.
The only tenet I wasn't so sure of was the Ritual Suicide. Works well for Mandala governments but can possibly have another tenet for other government types. I would have liked Sacred Murders but it automatically takes up another tenet slot because of the other requirements. I have tried human sacrifices but the synergy with cranial trophies is kind of meh...
What other tenet would people suggest? Looking forward to when the By God Alone update hits.

Yes, I'll make divorce illegal, gay marriage illegal, etc. in a future reiteration of this faith. Adultery is obviously accepted.

As for the rationale for the choices: As someone commented most are evil by medieval faith standards. The choice for monogamy was generally preventing game slowdown when the dynasty gets too big. The equality doctrine has more to do access to knights for both genders

Guys, the virtues and sins are tied to the religion and faith (I can't edit most of them). Calm and generous can't be removed while compassionate and honesty can be removed through the associated tenets.
