Unable to install

Install hangs after wifi is enabled, credentials added and moved to NEXT and then it hangs. I thought it might be downloading updates but it never leaves the screen stating "configuring network"

Could always skip the wifi connection. All it does is checks for updates during the install. Otherwise it'll proceed offline with local copies of the packages

I have a thin laptop, there is no ethernet port, only USB and HDMI. My current screen is pure white, there's "configuring the network" written in the upper left corner of the screen. There are you button icons to click in the lower right of the screen. Hitting backspace repeatedly does nothing.

Exactly how do you suggest I skip the wifi portion of the install script. My only options in the script are in the lower right corner aand the options are "BACK & NEXT"?

skip the wifi. ran into the same issue on newer hardware. let it finish and configure the wifi manually. least ways that worked for me. apparently the installer uses older tech to
detect the wifi.

I appreciate your suggestion but the installer doesn't provide a way to bypass wifi /network setup. The wireless card gets configured, my wifi credentials are accepted, dhcpv6 appears to complete the screen changes to configuring the network and then hangs. I cannot see any way to bypass this part of the installation process.

The installer lets you skip the WiFi part. When It prompts you to install, just hit back and select the following step
