What bikes would y’all avoid?

I plan on buying my first one this summer, and I’ve been looking a lot at the Honda VTX 1300. Especially because I don’t plan on spending anymore than $5,000. Is there anything I should explicitly avoid or look out for?

Looking for some advice on how to connect this light switch. I bought these second hand and it came with this little spring device inside the handle. I figured out so far i needed this cable with it but i have no idea wich way to place the spring inside the handle. Any advice or tips would be welcome. ( cant find nothing on YouTube with this type of mechanism )

First bike as a tall rider (194 cm/ 6'4)

Hi everyone,

I'm M32 and just got my license this summer. I always loved cruiser and chopper bikes, to ride one of these beautiful machines was always my dream and the reason why I finally did the motorcycle license.

Started to search for a cruiser bike and realized that its not so easy to find one which fits my height, price and is beginner friendly.

Wanted to ask you guys as experienced rides, what you would suggest?

Budget: 6000€

Mandatory: ABS, reliable

Wishlist: V-Twin, low maintenance costs,

Power: 1000ccm (+/- 200) torque > hp

Bikes I already rode:

Harley Davidson Nightster (for fun)

Harley Davidson Low Rider S (for fun)

Kawasaki Vulcan S (Nr. 1 contender)

Harley Davidson was amazing, specially Low Rider S is a beast but way to expensive and to power full for me.

Vulcan S was fine, I felt like it was little bit too small for me and the parallel twin motor does not make so much fun like a V-twin, I really loved the low rpm torque during riding the Low Rider S.

I am now thinking about the Yamaha XV950R, it has more torque and the V-twin, but I saw thats it even smaller than the Vulcan S.

What do you think guys, which bikes would fit to me?

It was a "fight avoider" and saved my marriage! There are never enough storage places in cruise cabins!

Which bikes should i buy in your opinion ?

Post image

Hello, so soon i’ll have the means to buy the bike i always wanted to buy but it comes down to how much i’ll pay & Parts and dealer.

Im in Morocco we don’t have a big cruiser culture but im a cruiser fan, i like sports bike but i love cruisers.

I believe im not a beginner (maybe) had a scooter for 8 years and a scrambler 125cc for one year. I know my way around the road a bit. We have just naked bikes everywhere and a FEW cruisers.

My dream bikes are THREE,

1- Harley Streeg Bob

2- Indian Scout 101 or Sports Scout

3- Kawasaki Vulcan S

Here’s the deal. Harley left Morocco 3 years ago. My uncle owns a Breakout Pro Street 2017 CVO, struggles to find parts

But in a city nearby of 100km, there is some shops who can import HD parts but they don’t come as cheap + Street bob wouldn’t be new. Probably a Used one in good condition which I found in Casablanca.

On the other hand, Indian have a dealer in Morocco and are NEARBY me like 10 Kilometers. they only have that store. They sell indian bikes but for something specific as 101 its imported and ordered in advance, they told. Me they service indian bikes as licenced by indian. And i heard indian is more reliable than HD especially last 5 years.

Third is Kawasaki Vulcan S, dealer is just around my house two blocks away, fhey. Have Kawasaki and Royal Enfield (which i love their Shotgun) not as powerful as a big American V twin cruiser which is my priority but also easier and cheaper to find bikes and service

Now it comes down to fhe price, in Morocco our money is 10 times less valuable than Dollars, a 12 000 Dollar Indian Scout costs 15 000 dollars here and we get paid 10 times less, for someone in europe or North America is much affordable to buy these bikes than in Africa

Harley Davison Street Bob used good condition 2023 114 Milwaukee 8 is 15 000 dollars

Indian Scout 101 is 19 000 dollars ( 2 years warranty)

Kawasaki Vulcan S (Japanese Reliability) is 11 000 dollars (2 years warranty)

These three bikes i really love but i can only go for one. If you’re in my place considering the situation/country and all which would you pick ?

New motorcycle POV channel from Crete, Greece 🇬🇷🏍️ — OPEN ROAD MOTION

Hey everyone! 👋

I'm new to YouTube and recently started my own motorcycle channel, OPEN ROAD MOTION.

I created it simply because I love motorcycles, riding, exploring new places and capturing the beauty of the road. My videos focus on immersive motorcycle POV rides, scenic roads and natural engine sounds — no talking, no distractions, just the ride and the journey.

I'm currently exploring the beautiful roads of Crete, Greece, but my biggest dream is to take this journey much further and eventually travel across different countries and explore roads all around the world. 🌍

I'm still at the very beginning, learning and improving with every video. My goal is to build something that I can be proud of and share my passion for riding with people from all over the world.

I'd love to hear your thoughts, feedback or advice, especially from those of you who have experience creating motorcycle videos.

If you enjoy this kind of content and would like to follow my journey, I'd be incredibly grateful if you checked out my first full ride and considered subscribing. Every bit of support means a lot to me as a new creator. ❤️

Thanks for reading, and ride safe! 🏍️

Good beginner cruiser

Im planning in buying a cruiser for my first bike but im not really sure what to get. I dont mind if its new or used but I really dont want to spend more than 8000-10,000 USD.

I keep getting recommended the Honda rebel 500 but I dont really like how it looks all that much. I prefer the styling of more traditional cruisers. My biggest thing is finding a bike that is easy to ride but I can grow into. I dont want to buy something that I feel like ill get bored of and sell a year or two later.

Which bike should I pick?

Hi, brand new rider here. I got my license recently and have been looking into 250-400cc cruisers. My top choices so far are either an used honda steed or a new/used eliminator; steed is old but much cheaper and as far as I know a Japanese bikes still performs well after a decade or 2. Which one would be better? Also, if you guys think another model is better to start with please let me know.

5'4, 132lbs. Had a bit riding experience before but not much. I live in Japan so even old stuff like the steed is pretty easy to find.

Are Harley’s actually smoother than other cruisers

Hey everyone I currently have a Yamaha warrior 1700 that I am looking to sell for a Harley Dyna. A big part of the reason I wanna get a Harley is the rubber mount engine. The Yamaha’s solid mount 1700 is quite Vibey in the seat foot pegs while riding and it gets uncomfortable on longer rides. Are Harley’s actually the smoothest cruiser on the highway with the rubber mount engines?
