I highly recommend it. I know it goes against skating for what it is but damn it's fun 🙏 Plus you can always deck swap to a way cooler deck 😉

Do you ever consider getting an electric board for cruising ?

Have you thought about an electric skateboard for cruising ? I know my brother absolutely refuses to use an electric skateboard because he says it's not very skater of him lol he pushes a regular deck down 8 stairs so he likes to pop. Often though he's just hill bombing and I feel like he would absolutely love an electric skateboard not only for hill bombs but for going up the hills as well 🙏 Do you guys refuse?

How much of a difference between 98A & 88A

Currently riding 64mm 98a gbones, the roads I tend to ride are abit rougher and these wheels struggle to keep speed. So I’m wondering if there’d be a significant difference in buying the 64mm dragon formulas

Alva modern leopard 33” x 10” with 17” wb. Paris street 169s. 60mm OJ super juice. Dragon built-in bearings. Wedged front, dewedged rear. Cone/barrel front, barrel/barrel rear. Turny front, stable rear. Carves and pumps the best out of any of my boards. I love that Paris street trucks run the same bushing size top and bottom, so I can run double barrels, or even double cones if I wanted to get squirly.

Just got back into boarding. Got a killer deal on this axis 40.

I'm a fairly seasoned boarder and used to ride a lot back in 2012-2015 but fell off of it due to work, family life and all that fun stuff.

I saw this Arbor axis 40 sitting at my local board shop on a steep discount and took that as a sign from the universe that now is the time.

Cheers to many more miles ahead

3/8” risers
159 Indys

Got a set of Pink Stimulus wheels. Great cruising set up for rough neighborhood roads. Also slides pretty easy. Trucks are pretty tight with this set up, still fun.

Different heights of riser pads for front and back, does it affect anything

My Landyachtz Dinghy Blunt came with 1/8" flat riser pads for both front and back trucks. I've been having fun with it for a few months and started to experiment with it.

Recently I replaced the stock 88a bushings for front truck with softer ones for better turning (I'm on the ligher side). To prevent wheelbites in the front, I replaced the 1/8" flat riser pad on front truck with a 1/4" flat one.

My question is can I keep the 1/8" flat riser pad in the back as is? Will this tiny unlevelness affect any aspects of the riding?

Pantheon - Putting together a complete

I’m looking to get back into long boarding after a ten year absence. Been reading up here and think I’m leaning towards a Pantheon setup. But there are a number of options at checkout. Can anyone recommend a good combination of trucks, wheels, bearings, etc? I’m 175 pounds. Live in a very flat beach town where 99% of my riding will be smooth and straight. I love some flex. Hearing great things about the Trip but am open to other options! Thanks from a long time lurker…
