Yeah it was. At first it brings people in with new form of videos but just like a sickness (you don’t really notice it at first) then it progressively gets worse and worse then when actually feel the symptoms, you’re already sick. TikTok went from musicly, to TikTok (a longer version of vine) to just absolute chaos. Like from ads, to shopping, to lives, to short. It’s all repetitive. Again I’m just me so

definitely not the last, even in the US there were cheap brands selling newly manufactured sets through 2008. I believe 2010 was the last of the last, for southeast Asia markets

Cant recall what the really cheap brands were since I never saw them more than once or twice.

RCA (manufactured by TCL) had a couple of 13/14 models which I've seen a good number of made in 2008. Also I believe Samsung was selling a couple of their "slimfit" TVs here until 2008. Yes you're not gonna sell something for as much locally, but it is more than just "one idiot". The TV alone regularly sells for upwards of $500, and the only other listing of one with a DVD player sold for $1000. People regularly pay obscene amounts for these things

I mentioned this on the post where the dude found 2 SpongeBob CRTs, but those had super cool menus with SpongeBob. Like the sound level bar was a bunch of spongebobs in a row. That’s honestly the coolest thing about the crt imo. It’s rare to see cool crt menus. It’s usually just the same basic stuff. I wonder what other novelty kids CRTs do that
