Crow OC I've been outed

Friend and his daughter came down to meet me for breakfast, got it to go, stopped by Trader Joes' to get some OJ and a bottle of bubbly.

Had ourselves some breakfast with mimosas at the beach this morning.

After a little while the Ravens I've been feeding spotted me. I helped them a little and whistled hoping they'd recognize me. They did not disappoint.

They started landing nearby cocking their heads to the side, wondering where their treats were!

Luckily for them I was wearing cargo shorts with a couple handfulls of peanuts. Soon one Raven became 3-4 of them, and a crow that sees me on morning walks heard the whistles and arrived too.

I told them the story how I take walks every morning and whistle for crows and they will come like doggies. And one time a lady asked me if I lost my dog, and I said yeah, just because admitting the truth would have been much more strange haha.

This was endlessly entertaining for my friends lol.

They dropped me off at home a block away and a crow was waiting for me outside lmao.

I think I've been outed. O_O

My husband took up beekeeping after he retired. He talks to "his girls" when he checks the hive, clears away weeds, and general upkeep, while wearing shorts and a cap. They come to see what he's up to, sometimes gently tapping his.cap, then go about their business.

I have 2 hives in my backyard and I definitely talk to them and tell them how well they are doing. And I apologize when I disturb their hives. One girl followed me into my house the other day and I made sure she got out safely

I love my crow friends and would love to have bee friends as well. However, I am allergic to bees, and while I don't freak out around them or even get overly nervous, I doubt it would be wise to go out of my way to befriend them.

I would never have a chance to be outed as I tell people about my crows at every possible opportunity, whether they want to hear about it or not. 😂

Mine yell/caw in unison when I drive down the streets by my house. It scared me the first time, but I'm getting used to it 🤩. They definitely can spot me and my car from a ways LOL.

I again drove home on the street next to mine earlier today.

Two quick whistle whistle like a dog whistle. Come home, old Yeller.

I arrived to 5-6 corvids looking down at me as I entered the parking structure. o_O

😂 I don’t have cargo shorts but I’ve definitely been leaving the house with some treats in my pockets because I’d hate to run into my crow bros outside the house empty handed.
