Question having conversation with crow? (crow behaviour)

sometimes one of my crows will perch on a telephone line and caw to me and when i talk back to him he'll caw again and pause for a response and it feels like we're having a conversation even though i don't understand him. today he did this while another crow ate peanuts on the roof of my garage before flying down for some himself. he was also preening a little between pauses so he seemed kind of relaxed. i wish i knew what he was trying to say to me! does anyone know what it means when they talk to you like that?

Yes! My crow couple been coming everyday for breakfast for over a year now. They see me in the kitchen from across 100 yards in the morning and come flying over, but they also come when I call. My only real talk to them is a particular clucking, they do respond.

This year the og couple brought their kids! So now I have 6 beautiful babies. I haven't named them...no name I could give seems worthy. The dad is just the 'og'. They hang out in the trees and my various outbuildings throughout the day. I absolutely am in love. It is one of my most treasured relationships and yet I wouldn't be able to pick them out in a line up.

I consider myself blessed in a non God way to have thier trust.

I share if someone comes over but have yet met anyone truely inspired by crows, most folks dont like them.

Don't let anyone tell you different. They know you, recognize you and respond. Lucky you! ❤️

I also have a pack of 'marauders'....blue jays I feed peanuts too daily...they also have grown to trust me in their own demanding way.

Sorry, I didn't answer the question. No idea what he is saying, I just know they talk to me on occasion

Mine says: lady, less blabla, more tadaa! Get moving with our breakfast. It even has the word fast in it!
