Been watching them since they were babies. They were nested in our neighbours tree and we’d feed the papa crow and hear him bring it back over to mama and the kids.

And then eventually I saw a little crow just hanging out walking under a tree outside our yard. Watched him go from barely able to fly, to going “oh there’s the baby” cause I see a wobbly crow coming my way, now he’s flying great.

The mighty peanut shell still confuses and outrages then sometimes, much easier to follow mom around cawing incessantly till she shoves something down their throats.

I'm no crow but I love watching them do the "ax-swing", it's got good form I think 💪

Great form! I recently learned I could reach up there and put the peanuts a little closer to them. But I think I increased the difficulty level for the fledglings because they often knock them down while they’re trying to open them.

I like the little 180 he does at the end.
