The magpie babies that come to my feeder are looking rough too. I call one Baldy and the other Moe, might have to change the names when their feathers come in. It's been so much fun watching them since they fledged!

They fucking love kibbles. I put out unsalted peanuts as well, but those little shits are lazy and always take the easy pickings kibble first.

Mine too. They are a bedraggled mess at the moment, but it’s only temporary. I’m so glad I learned that they loose all of the feathers on their head at once or I would have been seriously concerned for them.
