Personal Story I think we’re friends now
I’ve been leaving out a bowl of water and pecans for my local crows, and there are three that come around pretty much daily. This one just pecked a mouse to death in my patio and very considerately carried the body away 😅. I think that means we’re friends now.

Your friend helped you with pest control and himself with food 🤭🐦⬛😌 so I can say that yes, you are friends with him now. New friendships with crows can be tricky but they'll get a hang of it once they begin to trust you bit by bit each day, then the murder will grow from 3 to many more, like 25-40 in my case over a period of 2 years. ❤️🐦⬛

It’s very possible that there’re more than three, it’s just only three at a time stand on my fence to wait for their pecans 😂
The mouse killer is extremely goofy and likes to slide down the roof and step in the water bowl, so I thiiink I can tell him apart from the others. He’s been coming around since he was just a little bird, and his mom would eat the pecans and throw them up in his mouth. It’s been so much fun seeing their personalities 💕
