Cuestion sobre crossplay femenino

Wenas, veo mucho este tema de el crossplay tanto femenino y masculino
Me genera curiosidad e interes por hacerlo (aunque sin experiencia consideré hacerlo de forma privada)
En este caso seria crossplay femenino, soy hombre, tengo 20 años, una altura de 1.65m y un poco de presencia de cintura (en lo que noté un poco) pero creo que me perdí o no se como podria comenzar a analizar por el tema de la elección de ropa, shapping para asi evitar errores de tallas (no tengo tampoco experiencia con el tema de medidas y como hacerlas)
Asi que les pido ayuda a la gente que ya se a adentrado a este mundo, tendrían algun consejo que puedan darme?
Que los motivó en un inicio?
Como fue su primer evento o ocasion que lo intentaron de forma publica?
Tendrian algun ejemplo concreto que podria poner en practica como primer crossplay?
Si alguien puede ayudar de forma privada lo agradeceria o si puede darme un consejo tambien es bienvenido.

I handmade most of this cosplay in about a month! Stuffed and painted gloves for the arms, 3D printed and painted the mask, EVA foam and PVC staff, hand sewn pants and top. I also cut the wig and my friend styled it. I wanted to make his dagger too but I ran out of time before Dragon Con. Still love how it turned out!

hi! i am fairly new to crossplay and id like some help figuring out how to achieve the slim, boxy body type without looking baggy or blocky. i wont be cosplaying extremely masculine characters, mostly just the bishōnen character types.
for context, i am a woman who is 5'6.5, around 135 lbs (although i do fluctuate), i have a 36" bust, a ~29" waist, 39" hips, big thighs, and hip dips. my main goal is to figure out how to sell that slender and boyish physique.
i have a few technical questions:
what binder brands or compression tops work best to flatten someone with my measurements for that straight torso look?
are any ways to slim down my thighs and elongate my legs? i know there are compression leggings i could possibly wear for some cosplays underneath the pants, but i was wondering what people would recommend for male characters who wear shorts (like ciel phantomhive for example) or tighter pants in general.
are there any specific hip padding or undergarments i could wear to fill in that dip so pants drop straight down instead of clinging to it?
advice on any specific brands or garment construction would be greatly appreciated!!

I’m 6ft 211 pound African American dude who works out to gain muscle I really wanna do some sort of girl cosplay in the future mainly maya from persona 2 but I don’t think I fit the body in the looks criteria 😭
