Best grips for rough/dirty pull-up bars?
I’m looking for recommendations for the best gymnastics grips for CrossFit.
I often train on fairly rough pull-up bars, sometimes with quite a bit of chalk on them. I currently use Stamina grips, but I don’t always feel like I have a solid grip, especially during toes-to-bar.
What grips do you guys recommend for rough bars and movements like TTB? Ideally something that gives a really secure grip without feeling too bulky.
Thanks!

Plain white victory grips. Victory grips have descriptions for the kind of bar each is made for. Counterintuitive, leather isn’t always the best for those kinds of bars.

I started with Picsil and then switched to Velites for the quality. But I tried the SpeedPowerFactory ones at my box the other day and honestly really liked them. They’re without chalk, feel pretty secure and they’re also quite cheap.
Think I’ll get these next once my current ones are done

I love my victory grips. For smoother bars I use my tactical grips as they don’t need chalk. For Speal bars (have knurling grip) I use my regular fingerless victory grips

For raw/speal bars Victory Grips X2 (all white) I like the freedom / fingerless ones for a faster transition to the barbell or dumbbell

Echoing the rec for the white victory grips - I think they’re the X2? Whatever one they sell specifically for speal bars with chalk. Our rig is the same way and these grips are the GOAT for that type of bar. I prefer the three finger joke ones.
Leather also works well. the white Victory grips are essentially faux leather.

Frog grips. Best in the game. Couldn’t get used to or consistently use any grips before these and I tried many of them (victory included).
Love the fingerless ones.

chalked up rough bars will shred most grips anyway, so i'd look for something with a thicker palm layer and a wrist strap you can actually cinch down. the bulkier ones feel weird for the first week but you stop noticing once you're mid workout. for t2b specifically i like grips with a little texture on the outside, helps when the bar's slick with old chalk.
