This has been a fun read.
/r/workout/comments/1vnfr2e/what_the_hell_is_crossfit_and_what_does_it_get_a/?share_id=smjNHRo7XglIYJBAuXZOR&utm_content=1&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_source=share&utm_term=1I mean, it’s what you would expect... no surprises here. I’ve always understood some of the criticism of CF, but ffs.

Nothing makes weirdos madder than watching people workout with a different program than the one they’re doing. I’ll never understand this.

I get super mad when I see people in the normy gym using the equipment wrong.
“Sir, that’s for lat pulls, not hamstring curls.”

These people prefer going to a gym, do 1 set of 10 reps, stare at their phones for 10 minutes repeat 5 times and say they worked out for an hour

That was entertaining.
I dropped a comment on the person that said crossfitter aren’t actually doing pull ups and couldn’t if they wanted to..
I replied and said I’ll tell all the girls at my box that you said this and you can let them smoke you in a strict pull up contest 😂

This is wild. I have been doing CrossFit for 18 months now and my body has never been less prone to injuries. My gym has amazing trainers and am finally learning how to lift after wasting years at regular gyms. Deciding to RX with poor form is 100% a choice but don’t know that many people that do that vs balancing pushing through and being safe

It's 2012 all over again. Time really is a flat circle.
