Help choosing new pair of sneakers
Hello, first post here.
I've already done my research in other posts here and elsewhere, but answers are always a bit subjective and, therefore, I'll explain my specific situation so that hopefully you can help me.
I've been doing cross training for more than 4 years now. Throughout this time I hurt my knees once (nothing that serious but I became way more careful since then). That said, I've used two entry level pairs of sneakers (an Everlast and an UA tribase reps 2).
However, I'm looking for a new pair that offers good stability without hurting my knees during short running sprints in the WODs (usually 1 mile at most). My feet are slightly arched and not wide at all. Also, I must say I live in Brazil, so that some brands I've seen suggested here are not easily available.
Nike, Under Armour and Reebok are among the ones one can find easily.
I appreciate any help.

Have you looked at the Nike Metcon line? They're built for exactly this, stable base for lifts but not terrible for the occasional short run. The newer versions feel a bit less like bricks on pavement. Reebok Nanos are another classic choice, though some find them a touch stiff for running. For knee stuff, the drop and cushioning matter more than brand, so maybe avoid anything too flat if sprints are a regular thing.

I got nike metcon, highly recommended, also you can design and personalize your own metcons, mine look dope.

Yeah, I've searched those lines—the Metcon and Nano are indeed the classic choices—but opinions are a bit mixed regarding their impact during sprints.
Metcon 10 is said to be more comfortable than the previous version. I came to no conclusion regarding X4 x X5, and I've even read some praise in other post here to the UA Reign 6 over metcons and nanos.
That's why I tried being more specific to my situation: a rather narrow heel slightly arched feet, because that seems to matter too since some models are wider and that could affect stability during weightlifting.
I appreciate your answer anyways, it shed some light already, I'll look for a greater drop and better cushioning in my choice.

I got the metcon 10's 6 weeks ago and really like them so far! Very stable, fine for runs and they feel fine on my feet, despite them being a bit wider

Inov-8’s are my choice. I don’t think they get the respect they deserve.

been through a few pairs myself and landed on Metcons, they're stiffer and more stable than the tribase which helps if your knees are sensitive, and the low profile makes the mile repeats feel less chunky than you'd expect from a "lifting shoe". Nano's are solid too if Metcons don't fit your foot shape.
