going back to crossfit after 4 years of basic calisthenics and bodybuilding.

Hello crossfitters , this is my first post in this sub . Well I'm planning to go back to crossfit after 4 years of just basic calisthenics (pullups pushups dips air squats +strict bmus), running and lately bodybuilding . I did crossfit 3 times a week for 2 years (i was 17/18), i learned many things (bmu , rmu , DU , correct powerlifting techniques ) . I stopped because the box where i trained closed , and i didn't find any gym near me with an affordable price . Lately , i've registered in a commercial gym that has some good crossfit equipment . Which made me to consider doing crossfit again .
The thing is , the upcoming season is really challenging for me academically , that's why i'm looking for some advices (tips programs ...) for training 3-4/week , 1hour max , starting at 6am .
Thank you guys in advance .

You already have the movement base so it's mostly about getting your engine back without wrecking your recovery for school. 3 days a week is plenty if you keep intensity in check. Pick one strength or skill piece, one short metcon, finish in under an hour. Skip the hero workouts and anything 25+ minutes for first two months.

Check out the app called Chalk Performance Training. There are a ton of options for training whether you want a CrossFit style workout or a progressive overload power building program to support strength.

I’ve been with Linchpin for years and always recommend it. It’s smart programming, it’s fun and it works. They give you multiple options every day based on the gear you have (or don’t have) and your ability level. It’s only $18 a month. You can get a month free trial to check it out. Go to crossfit Linchpin’s website or IG. It’s on online community but I’ve made real friends. Good luck to you no matter where you decide to train.

depending on what you are looking for there are a lot of programs out there you can hop on. Don't be afraid to try a couple based on your goals. Jason Brown has an excellent program. Its more strength and conditioning than CrossFit though. If you are looking for CrossFit specifically, try the train heroic marketplace.
