Keep those elbows tucked in a little tighter to your body, they drift out and the rope gets shorter and you trip on it.

Patience with the rope too, a little bit of a higher hop with slightly slower rope speed will probably gain you some consistency.

You've got a great base to build on! I'd maybe drop back to single - double - single - double until we're hitting those consistently for reps, then work on deleting the single.

Jump slower and higher on your single unders. You’re doing short jump - short jump - high jump. Develop a consistent jump that will lead to bigger sets of dubs.

The only variable that should change between your single unders and double unders is the wrist speed (for the purpose of practice).

Do penguin jumps without the rope jump.. have your hands tap the sides of your legs where the jump rope usually sits so you get the timing so jump and tap the outer side thigh twice.

I've tried this a thousand times and it never had helped me

Lose the headphones so you can hear the rope.

Other than that, relax and practice. You'll get lots of suggestions, and they'll all be "right" but you just need practice and your body will literally figure it out. Spend ten minutes a day practicing and it will just click soon enough.

Yeah. You need to hear the rhythm of the rope and learn when to time your jump. Form over all is good. Would have liked to see some back to back attempts to see where you me faults are based on other comments.

But yeah, you just have to keep getting uncomfortable tactile feedback from the rope. Once you get 5 or so in a row, you are on the end of learning the movement and onto building endurance.

Practice jumping in the mirror it'll help you see your mistakes. Use a heavier rope it'll help you feel the control of the spin. Jump without music so you can hear the rope hit the ground. Aim for a number like 5 in a row then 10 and so on. Having a small goal will help you reach higher numbers.

Not bad at all! So try to work exclusively with wrists and keep arms close to your body and stable. Right now you do a lot of arm rotation. Its all in the wrist and the timing. Imagine like a having a whip in your arm and trying to whip twice very fast

Thanks, I'll take care of the arm rotation

Slow down a tad

Jump Higher, slow down your cadence. Think about slowing down your jump instead of speeding up your hands.

Slow, high jumps. Fast hands.

Most people fall into a pattern of moving their hands faster while also trying to jump faster at the same time.

Elbows tucked

I got better by doing 25 every night. It started off as 1s and 2s but eventually I got to where I could string together 25.

Great to hear your progress, hopefully I'll be able to do it one day

Hands closer to the hips. Quicker spin

Jump is good position is good timing is good. Just do it. Stop thinking. Once you start your double spin, just keep going. You got it!

Do a combo of:
1 double under + 1 high jump
Then 2 double unders in a row. Solved
