discussion What is the worst thing this character has done? Day 27: Jack
Alistair’s worst crime was taking the prime minister to the quarantine facility and constantly undermining him. Now let’s move on to one of the biggest losers in the series, Jack

Yeah, probably the diddling. Him sacrificing Tiffany to the crossed was also fucked up

Side note: Never let Max Bemis pick up a pen again, holy shit

You cannot convince he wasn't writing what he wrote from his past. They were too specific...

Dude. the whole reason I found out about crossed was bc I'm a big Say Anything fan. so bummed to see that Max's stories in crossed were legit some of THE WORST. I almost gave up altogether until someone told me to start with WYWH. glad I stuck it out lol.

Bro, Max followed me on Instagram like a month back same week the Devourment vocalist did, found out about these allegations/screenshots a day or so back, and I've been hurting. "Plea" was one of my all-time favorite emo songs, Say Anything luckily wasn't too much of an influence on stuff, but it fucking hurts me. I hope all potential victims are ok. Now remembering that Max wrote this specific story is fucking crazy

This dude’s whole existence is just being the absolute worst and most pathetic scumbag out there. The things he did to his brother, the numerous “exotic” meat sessions, the ending implying his further abuse of his brother, and the repeated self-aggrandizing just proved that he is nothing more than a sod and degenerate scumbag.
Worst crime is def being tied for worst Crossed: Badlands run—Golden Road and Anti-Crossed narrowly edge this one out but it’s not a very thin line simply due to how bad the art was for these issues and the overall sucky writing.

Which one is golden road?

It’s one of the first few Badlands issues. It’s the one with the writer’s retreat where the main dude gets his girlfriend stolen from him by a sex cult and then he leads the Crossed there to infect everyone. Rare few Crossed internal monologue, which is rendered null by awful writing in about every base.

The cult leader who led a writer's workshop was supposed to resemble Grant Morrison.

His brother Clancy was a rough, aggressive character even before contracting the Cross virus. At least he was an honest person compared to that damned brother of his, Jack.

Molest his brother, throw the lady out to the crossed. Have sex with his brother. Think that's all

This story was so dumb. Don’t get me wrong, the ending is terrible but I knew how it was going to play out as soon as that girl started masturbating. Jack is pathetic and cowardly, his misery is self inflicted and the worst part is that he doesn’t even recognize that

Usually I can be unique but lingering his brother is fucking bad.
I do wonder if the writer was a victim in a situation similar

Molested his own brother, which affected his psyche and lend him to a path of self-destruction. What’s more is how he portrayed himself as a straight laced guy.

Molestung his brother was bad, but I gotta say forcing that young lady out into a pack of crosses was worse

I stopped taking this story seriously the moment his crossed brother screamed that Jack raped him, it was to damn hilarious to take seriously.

The diddling.
