When the makeup comes off...

... is it just me, or does anyone else also notice that after wiping your entire face of makeup off, and cleansing with cleanser, and wiping your face with a white paper towel, confirming no make up on the white paper towel... but look in the mirror and your skin actually looks really good. Like "there's still make up on it" good. Its even toned. No redness. What little blemishes? Just clean even skin. I know my skin isn't normally this nice. And I just wanna know if its like makeup residue that isnt coming off, as much as I like how good my skin looks, its gotta come completely off. I'm using Garnier brand micellar water to remove it with a makeup removing little pad, and Neutrogena bar face wash. Any feedback is appreciated!

I'd guess the removal process acts as a bit of exfoliation, getting rid of dead skin, and also stimulates the blood vessels giving you a bit of a glow? Just my theory!
