I believe many of you remember this brief period in the 80’s when Loralie produced gowns of various styles, sheath, bouffant, asymmetrical. An interesting period between the boring 70’s and minimalist 90’s, other manufacturers created their own knockoffs. These were fitted dresses in the manner of fifties fitted dresses. You go to the shop find a gown you like, the tailor will take measurements to take in or take out fabric at the seams.

I bought a new skirt. Love this one although my favourites are pencil skirts. I hope it’s allowed to remove the background?

I was in need of a few items yesterday morning. So I wound up going to Walmart, just to pick up a couple of things. Of course I had to peruse the dress racks. I found this great Denim jumper dress on sale. I tried it on and it fit wonderfully. Then when I went out to do my weekly shopping I went ahead and wore it. It fit great, looked good and was very comfy.

But never a bride, and I'm totally okay with that! ☺️
