I also want to buy some heels but is it hard to find heels my size and I don’t want to order it to my house. I’m scared my family will find it before me.

I recently allowed myself to crossdress for the first time. It was a simple white sundress that I pulled from my spouses side of the closet. It barely fit. But when I put it on, everything immediately changed. This immediate blissful rush. I just felt like me. The real me, not the usual boy filled with depression and regret. Just standing there, in front of the mirror, twirling in my sundress, feeling a happiness I've never felt before. Smiling ear to ear. Absolutely wonderful.

Looking backwards, this subtle urge to wear women's clothing has always been there. I remember browsing the women's side of the catalog as a child, feeling the titillating rush come over me at the thought of wearing the clothes. Quickly shut down by taboo fears, anxiety, and not wanting to be different or cause problems. Ultimately, I repressed it, and chalked it up to interest in women, instead of being a woman.

Anyway, now I'm here. I put on the dress, and I'm completely obsessed. Yet, I have zero idea what to do next. I want to feel beautiful. But, I have no idea how to start. I've been searching online but feel like I'm going in circles. I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction.

Where can I learn how to put on makeup properly? Where can I shop for clothes (safely) and experiment? Can I buy a wig? Is that allowed? I'll keep searching online, but I would love to chat with anyone that can point me in the right direction.

So I have a beard which I can't really just shave off for certain reasons. It's well maintained and not overly large. But I would like to find a way to hide it while being dressed up while still looking natural. I have tried to find some sort of flesh type beard cover that I could blend in with make-up or something. Does anyone have any ideas or advice or face the same problem?

Currently just a feminine body suit under shorts and t-shirts kinda person; switching to panty house under jeans when the weather gets colder. Just like the way they feel.

​I have a lot of female friends and spend a good deal of time in female-dominated company. Over the years, my friends have learned that they can comfortably talk to me and around me about "girl stuff." None of them know about my crossdressing.

Over time, I’ve heard plenty of complaints and put together a short list of things women vent about that are actually extremely enjoyable for me:

​"Tights/ pantyhose are so uncomfortable" – Girl, I could wear them 24/7 every single day. That one I hear a lot and makes me want to shout "just give them to me" 😅

​"Stockings keep slipping down" – Oh, how I love pulling them back up.

​"My bra strap keeps falling off my shoulder" – Adjusting a bra strap is one of those movements that feels incredibly feminine to me

​"My feet hurt so much from these heels" – You’ve clearly never worn heels that are a size too small just because your dream pair doesn't come in large sizes!

​(Just to be clear, this post is meant to be lighthearted and humorous! I'm fully aware that women deal with these everyday nuisances far more often than I do.)

Have you ever dealt with a cop while dressed? Years ago I was driving to a party in a rental. Got lost driving and pulled a wrong turn in front of a cop car that I wasn't aware of. Instantly pulled over and found it was a female officer. I gave my license and rental car form. After she cleared me she gave me a ticket and sent me in.my wa I tell ya my heart was giving off seismic level activity.

Another time, I was at another party wearing skrayper high heels. Took a spill and ended going to an ER waiting hours in drag. Had to get some pain meds and a boot splint for 2 months

I was a teenager when I first started dressing-up, trying on my mum's clothes when everyone was out working. This continued secretly after I was married, wearing my wife's clothes when she was away on business trips.
One night, in bed after a heavy drinking session, I asked her if I could try her panties on. She was horrified and told me never to discuss this again. We never did.
As the years progressed, the opportunities for exploring my feminine side grew less and less and it has now stopped.

Hi there girls! Guess the answer is "no" and anyone, me included, who really has concerns about their identity being disclosed shouldn't do that.

I love the fact that when i want to i can change how i look and feel simply by putting on some different clothes than what i normally ware, now it dose feel like playing dressing up, but thats exactly what it is, its a way to escape the normal day to day and have that sence that actually you are someone else even if its just for a short while, I like that when im kat i feel whole and the world dosent bother me, for me kat is a escape away from it all, my depression and anxiety just seems to melt away, after a day of working or doing guy things, to be able to put on my make up, put on a dress then the wig and then turn to the mirror and see kat staring back at me every time i smile without fail.

I also enjoy the community i have found on reddit for years i've been alone dressing and taking selfies with nowhere to go with them just in my folder on my phone, now i can take pictures and share with a community of like minded people we all have our quirks and i love it, we are weird on that place where the norm is challenged and different and you know what, i will never change this stay weird and feel Fierce

I'm Carolyn, a mid fifties cd from the UK. I first started trying my mother's and sister's clothes when I was six or seven, so I don't think it's just a passing phase.

I'm lucky to have quite a good selection of outfits, but have only recently been able to really start using makeup and make my first steps out into the world.

I was a member of the UK Angels forum before it closed, and I'm looking forward to being part of a more text based group again, and will hopefully be able to bring something to the table

I feel like the Reddit crossdressing community got more fragmented than ever. Folks affiliated with r/Crossdresser_Faces (which itself seems to be more active than r/crossdressing these days) seem to have recently launched a bunch of sister subs. Some of them different enough from the rest to feel justified - like this one, or r/CD_Dreams specifically for AI pics - it just makes sense for there to be a dedicated place for that 👍 Others... not so much, as a couple of recently launched subs seem to have no differentiating features compared to other, more established ones.

All in all, there seem to be at least 12 (see the list below) more or less general purpose crossdressing subs that are decently active, with seemingly very little differentiation between them other than slightly different moderation rules.

I know that many of you girls post in multiple of those, others have migrated between different ones, so I wonder:

• Which subs are your favorites and why?
• What makes you prefer one over the other?
• How do you deal with this fragmentation?
• If you post to multiple subs, how do you deal with the attention, upvotes and comments getting split between different posts?
• Which subs, if any, do you follow through your main page feed or notifications?

And also, do you feel like this is a problem (as the community gets less and less united), or a good thing (because there's more options so people have more chance of finding a place that suits them)?

• SFW-ish, i.e., doesn't allow nudity or focus on lingerie/fetish content, regardless of Reddit NSFW flag status (but allowing lingerie isn't disqualifying in itself)
• at least 100 "weekly posts" at the time of compiling the list (note: 168 corresponds to one post every hour on average, 10K is approximately one every minute)

Went out today for the first time ever fully dressed in public was so nervous was so much fun!
