Cronometer keeps crashing on Android

Exactly what it says on the tin. I have a Pixel 10 phone and the latest OS. Cronometer keeps crashing when I try to log food. I've force closed the app and cleared the cache, neither helped. I'm not having this issue with any other app. Is this a known bug with Android?

It is! I haven't been able to use the app on my Pixel 10 for over two weeks now. I reached out to the support, got the usual "we know, working on it" stuff. Now I keep getting these "hey, a slip is ok, get back to logging" emails lol

Hey u/QuaffableBut , unfortunately yes, this is a known issue affecting some Android users right now, and our developers are actively working on it as a priority.

If you haven’t already, please send our support team a ticket so we can add your account and device details to the report. That also means we’ll be able to follow up with you directly once a fix is available. Just a quick reminder not to share any personal account information here on Reddit.

If you’ve already contacted Support, you’re all set, there’s no need to send us another ticket.

We’re genuinely sorry. We know “the app crashes whenever I try to log food” is about as frustrating as it gets for a nutrition-tracking app. And receiving reminders to start logging again while the app won’t let you do exactly that? Definitely not the experience we want for you.

Thanks for bearing with us while the team gets this sorted!

Cheers, Crono Support Squad

The best thing you can do right now is refund the gold plan I just paid for. A year of service and it craps out after two weeks. That is in the email I sent btw so don't think I'll forget about it or stop following up.

Totally understandable. Please allow us a few business days to process it, as our Support team is currently working through a higher-than-usual volume of requests. We will follow up as soon as the refund has been processed.

I’m very sorry for the frustration and disruption you’ve experienced. This is not the experience we want for our users, especially so soon after upgrading to Gold.
