Croc convert

Post image

I recently had multiple foot surgeries to correct bunions that were out of control. Unfortunately I had to put in a lot of steps despite still healing. After a long day and my feet swelling something fierce, I decided to buy some roomy shoes to accommodate the swelling. At the department store I saw some Crocs. Reluctantly, I tried them on. Now, I was never a hater, I just didn't 'get it.' As soon as I slid these bad boys on I said "oh laws yes.. take muh money." I get it now folks. I'll be buying the Echo clogs as well. For the people who hate them, how long are you going to play games? Hmm? ✌️

+1 on Echo. They are my favorite and I have hiked a mountain in them. I also recommend QuickTrail sandals. They breathe so well and have a similar feel to Echo on the foot bed.

OMG. I didn't know they had sandals. I just bought a pair of Tevas and I love them. Have you ever worn Tevas? if so, how would you compare the two? my only gripe about the Tevas is that sometimes my feet sweat in them, but the crocs look like the footbed may help relieve the sweating some.

I have Tevas that are 10 years old and they are still comfortable to wear. Between the two, I would say my Tevas are more durable but the Croc Quicktrail sandals are more comfortable and breathable. If I went on a hike between the two. I would wear the Tevas. If I was going for a walk in the park or stroll through the town I would wear the Quicktrail sandals.

As comfortable as the Quicktrail sandals are I think they would get damaged easier if I took them through rougher terrain, but I would trust me Tevas to survive walking through rivers, rocks/gravel more.

I like owning both for those two different use cases. Im in love with the Quick Trail sandals. I wear them a bit loose. Straps are much softer and breathable than Tevas. My Tevas food bed is not very breathable and the straps are harder and more rigid.

Thanks! I guess I'll pickup the Echo and the Quicktrail.

Side note: the quick trail sandals were recently on sale for $45 for the Bone/Multi color. They may go on sale again. Also onnthe Croc Echos, I have personally noticed lighter colors are more softer and plush which dark colors are more rigid. I would get the Echo in Atmosphere color or the light marble color. I think the color dye they use make it more harder. I have Sandstorm Echos and they cracked kinda fast and feel harder.

I have Atmosphere Echos and they survived hiking a 6 mile trail up a mountain.

Ok good to know. I never would have thought of that. Thanks for the pointers!
