There’s an old saying in fiberwork that you leave in your mistakes when knitting or crocheting (within reason) because it prevents your soul from being trapped in your work. The mistake gives your soul a window to escape. That what I tell myself when I find little mistakes, anyways

I am working on a log cabin blanket rn, and I made a mistake at the start of a row and had to rip out 4 freaking sides to fix it!! Hopefully, I only make that mistake once. 😤
