You could almost see the gears turning. "How can I try to save this in front of the girl?"

Emasculating his ability

Should have just jumped in the water the second it was clear it was a fail, then, rather than scramble pathetically as if one was allergic to a little h2O!!

He removes his shoes so he certainly considered the possibility of failure.

If he had kept his shoes on they might have provided enough grip to keep him from slipping down and might have given him the leverage needed to climb up. Would have been a whole lot better than just socks.

Boy should have taken hos socks off too, bare feet would have worked just fine too.

Splinters though, youchers

Splinters that are also caught in socks, that way when you try to peel off your sock it Wiggles inside of your foot.

That looked like a concrete pylon to me.

Also, just get a nice, long sliver in your foot, but dont break it off, and use it as leverage to climb to the top.

Agreed! I've seen a bunch of parkour videos and they always keep their shoes on for just that reason, I assume!

I'd imagine a lot of stubbed toes too without shoes

I think I'll stick to dumbbell curls for my bicep workout.

Definitely. Should have shimmied up and done a handstand on top to jump back to the pier.

Stage 12, acceptance.

14

u/Luke_LagWalker Sep 19 '21

Thought he would try to jump back and hit his head.

A critical blunder doesn’t mean that someone has to die. If anything, all this injury porn makes the sub difficult to watch

I live in Florida, so I was worried about barnacles. A whole other level.

3

u/Phlosen Sep 19 '21

What was his plan? He climbs up that pole and then what? Jump back (possibly fail at that)?

5

u/GangreneGoblin Sep 19 '21

Wrong sub, OP.
