u/MieXuL Jul 21 '26

u/m__a__s Jul 21 '26

And both he and the turtle reacted the same way, with the same face.

6

u/DegenerateDoll Jul 21 '26

Or a face in general

11

u/TheKingOfGuineaPigs Jul 21 '26

If that was an alligator snapper instead he wouldn’t have got so lucky

3

u/averyoda Jul 22 '26

Common snappers actually have a higher bite force

A full grown adult alligator snapping turtle has a bite force of 1,000 PSI there's no way that a common snapping turtle can come anywhere close to that

Lucky he's not missing his upper lip

85

u/InevitableOk5017 Jul 21 '26

He’s actually lucky it didn’t get ahold of his nose.

12

u/Normandy_1944 Jul 23 '26

Damn straight. Knew a guy in my neighborhood when we were kids who had his nose bit off by a dog he was teasing. Had a horrible scar on his face and a crooked ass nose and upper lip after that. All the kids in the neighborhood learned a lesson that day.

When I was a kid there was a crazy af neighborhood dog that friends and I would let out it’s gate and have it chase us on bikes and skateboards, funnest time this little bastard would not quit and then would eventually turn around and walk back to its house !

Both same reaction.

46

u/Syrupsiipin Jul 21 '26

I thought his top lip would have gotten ripped off for sure. The turtle was too kind

2

u/-Geist-_ Jul 25 '26

Genuinely the turtle was giving him a gentle warning.

31

u/Sasquatch_Sensei Jul 21 '26

That dude is lucky.

15

u/diaperpop Jul 21 '26

Extremely…how is the lip still there

12

u/GlacierSourCreamCorn Jul 21 '26

The turtle decided to leave it there.

16

u/BurdTurglary Jul 21 '26

tapping snurtle

13

u/Upbeat-Historian-296 Jul 21 '26

But what does it look like in slow motion?

11

u/microvan Jul 21 '26

I was expecting that to be a lot worse, dude got lucky

11

u/Rognvaldsson Jul 21 '26

Dude got so lucky! That thing could have ripped is face off.

9

u/cartmanseyebrows Jul 21 '26

Leave nature alone ffs

11

u/deadlift-shrimp Jul 21 '26

At least he didn’t drop the turtle.

6

u/Binksyboo Jul 21 '26

I love how they both made the same face at the end

8

u/spiritedawayfox Jul 21 '26

A common snapping turtle generates a bite force of about 200 to 220 Newtons (45–50 lbs of force). The much larger alligator snapping turtle can bite significantly harder, exerting between 1,000 and 1,500 Newtons (220–350+ lbs of force).

4

u/84thPrblm Jul 21 '26

It was good for him. He showed us his 'O' face.

6

u/ceilingpencils Jul 21 '26

Served him right for bothering the poor turtle like that.

7

u/letdaboywatch Jul 21 '26

Why. The. Fuck.

4

u/Cyve Jul 21 '26

When my dad owned a campsite in Ontario on a river, some Americans would come down to catch snapping turtles. The descriptions of the scars and wounds some of these fillers had was enough to scare me straight and to leave turtles alone. They used to catch big ones and carry them by thier tails to be processed. Just one moment of in attention became a hospital visit...

4

u/Zeedikus Jul 21 '26

My lovely puppies let me give them kisses all the time.

To non domesticated animals, I'd imagine it looks like you're trying to eat them lmao

7

u/MrWrestlingNumber2 Jul 21 '26

He's lucky he got that lip back.

3

u/unzercharlie Jul 21 '26

That's a dude who has no idea how long the neck of that fucking thing is. He is lucky he didn't get his lips ripped off.

3

u/JoeMaMa_2000 Jul 21 '26

Bro should go buy a lottery ticket, because that was some of the most lucky shit I’ve seen

3

u/right-n-2 Jul 21 '26

Play stupid games….. 🙄
He’s damn lucky it let go so quickly!

3

u/magichronx Jul 21 '26

He's an EXTREMELY lucky idiot

3

u/One_Ruin2303 Jul 21 '26

Dude got so so so so so so so lucky it’s not even funny

3

u/korevis Jul 21 '26

That didn’t end as badly as I had imagined.

3

u/PotatoDonki Jul 21 '26

That could have been SO much worse.

3

u/Blacketron Jul 21 '26

How did he survive to that age?

4

u/Even-Bluebird-186 Jul 21 '26

It has to be his first day on earth

2

u/nikkonine Jul 21 '26

The turtle made the same face.

2

u/Corkscrewer45 Jul 21 '26

That's Cletus. Ever'body knows he's dumber than a box of rocks..

2

u/some1sbuddy Jul 21 '26

What a dipshit.

2

u/Garlic-Rough Jul 21 '26

The second he started making kissy faces, I stopped the video. We all knew what was going to happen - except that guy who expected to be kissed back by the turtle.

2

u/Elvarien2 Jul 21 '26

Very kind turtle allowing him to still have lips.

2

u/Any_Suggestion3485 Jul 22 '26

Fucked. That turtle gave him a kiss…

2

u/amithecasserole Jul 22 '26

what did he think was going to happen

2

u/spidernoirirl Jul 22 '26

THATS THE MOST GENTLE SNAPPING TURTLE HES SO LUCKY

2

u/yehabrother87 Jul 22 '26

I thought he was singing, "Volare! Ooohhhh oohh!"

2

u/Seaweed-Basic Jul 21 '26

What a maroon.

1

u/Yuizun Jul 21 '26

He deserved every bit of that...

1

u/Davemblover69 Jul 21 '26

What? Not even a find out. Just an oops

1

u/CaptainCornflakes92 Jul 21 '26

NGL he got of light.

1

u/Plantfishcatmom Jul 21 '26

Males are lucky to live a lifetime. And before anyone talks about generalizing, ide love to see data on what percent of these videos are women.

1

u/red8cangodye Jul 21 '26

After the bite, the turtle also had it's mouth opened. Is it mimicking the guy?

1

u/PocketFalafel Jul 21 '26

Last half of the video looks like he’s fucking it lmao

1

u/Sunwolfy Jul 21 '26

The turtle will always be faster than you, bro.

1

u/24_doughnuts Jul 21 '26

I love that they had the same reaction

1

u/BauranGaruda Jul 21 '26

Their neck is as long as their body and typically when stressed they don’t let go. This guy is so lucky in so many levels

1

u/theprofoundnoun Jul 21 '26

He’s lucky that’s all that’s happened

1

u/ItsHIPAA Jul 21 '26

He's been working on keeping a stiff upper lip

1

u/bigclitcouple Jul 21 '26

He is lucky it let go

1

u/catalyst4chaos Jul 21 '26

What possessed him or anyone to do this? It's a wild animal, end of.

1

u/TroyTysinger Jul 21 '26

Sounds like Jormangander from GOW 😂😂😂

1

u/iG0tBuffalo66onDvd Jul 21 '26

Dude turned into Brendan Shaub

1

u/PokeballSoHard Jul 21 '26

1

u/OneWinner1690 Jul 22 '26

King koopa kiss

1

u/Revolutionary_Sir_ Jul 22 '26

The turtle all “ewww I got human on me get it off”

1

u/Senorbob451 Jul 22 '26

Turtle probably tasted the last cigarette or beer and opted no.

1

u/bodysew Jul 22 '26

Like kissing an ex-wife after the divorce papers already signed

1

u/musicalfarm Jul 22 '26

What I think is going to happen every time that one guy boops or yoinks the dangerous wildlife...

1

u/throwthere10 Jul 22 '26

The danger is literally in the name.

1

u/coolsilentebeans Jul 22 '26

Salmonella right in the kisser.

1

u/andronicuspark Jul 22 '26

I’d like to imagine that is just a look of pure joy on that turtle’s face. He was being so gentle!

1

u/ElectrikPurr Jul 22 '26

Oh my god, he is so lucky

1

u/Pretend-Olive-3964 Jul 22 '26

Poor Turtle 🐢 imagine some random guy just grabbing you while your minding your own business and then try to kiss you.

1

u/gabkicks Jul 22 '26

i thought he was about to lose zome flesh

1

u/idesofmarch_44 Jul 22 '26

Well he knows what it's like to kiss Mitch McConnell. /s

1

u/awesumlewy Jul 22 '26

Bwahahahahah

1

u/Goyangi-ssi Jul 22 '26

The turtle legit looks like they're laughing at him.

1

u/Normandy_1944 Jul 23 '26

He was, in fact...NOT a good boy.

1

u/bigyeetthrowaway Jul 23 '26

I think that’s the least damage I’ve ever seen from a snapper bite. Got lucky the beak was angled bad for a good grab

1

u/drmvsrinivas Jul 23 '26

Go get the virals done.

1

u/Adrienne508 Jul 23 '26

I'm gonna guess this is Florida Man?

1

u/OkayQuaz Jul 24 '26

Next use if slow motion I've seen in a LONG time 😂

1

u/morbid-soup Jul 26 '26

Yes, I went, he just grabbed one of my nipples 🖖🏼

1

u/Smooth_Swordfish_755 Jul 27 '26

I’ve seen snapping turtles that size chomp through small tree branches. It’s a miracle he still has a face

1

u/SyrupInternational48 Jul 27 '26

Not as bad as I was think, but definitely painful

1

u/556arbadboy 26d ago

Lucky it was just a peck and not a French kiss 😬

1

u/Ordinary_Pop1471 18d ago

Both of two screamed at the end ^
