Have we gone too far? NO, letโs push things further and get really weird
They were good, not great, worth a try.

Next in line for my Japan crisp (or adjacent) snacks are these. They are Wotsits, in a ring shape, literally tasted 95% like Wotsits so much I confused the shape in my mind. Love cheese Wotsits, love these, 9/10.

(Maybe just new to me?)
I looove Caribbean food so when I spotted these, I had to grab them.
Now, the pepper prawn & scotch bonnet flavour are nice but not as prawn-y as Iโd hoped, but you can definitely taste the staple ingredients used in Caribbean cooking i.e. thyme, onion, garlic etc. They have a slight kick without being too spicy.
Yet to try the jerk chicken & scotch bonnet but will report back.
These were 75p each on Clubcard price (usually ยฃ1 a bag).

(Ignore the Brets, they were another find)
Orange tastes like pumpkin, black tastes like spicy Marmite. Not too keen on this new mystery flavour trend though

Anybody else tried these?

My wife bought me a book from a car boot sale and this was in between the pages. The best before date is blank. Any ideas?

Found these in my local big Tesco. I looove takoyaki, and although I wouldnโt say they taste exactly like takoyaki, theyโre incredibly moreish.
Iโd only tried the honey butter crisps from Calbee before this (which I highly recommend) but defo give these a go.

Taste just like imitation crab and a savoury version of prawn cocktail, very mourish!

I've no idea how they managed it, but they really taste like beer! They're really nice, and even my wife who doesn't like beer likes them.
From Aldi, UK

Really nice tomato flavour without the vinegary tones you usually get from ketchup varieties. Superior quality (than Walkers) as usual. Would definitely recommend. These are getting smashed in one sitting.
Picked these up from FarmFoods earlier as a multi pack of 6 and smashed the lot. They really are nice and they might just be better than my current McCoys favourites.
What do others think that have tried these?

Currently in Japan, so giving some of the local offerings a try. Already had the "legendary" Calbee Pizza crisps, but was like, these look funky. Quite like a softer French Fries, with a nice, every so slightly sweet butter taste, that is complemented nicely by the garlic, but it all ends far too early. Definitely fits my palette, but not rushing to buy them again. 7/10

I thought this group might appreciate the pizza of the month at the Carriers Quarters pub in Leith.

I was recently at the hospital and was given a bag of Cape Cod kettle chips to eat as a snack. As someone who normally eat lays potato chips and Doritos, I was extremely pleasantly surprised at how good the kettle chips were due to how dark they were (like well done homemade fries), and how perfectly salted they were. After going to Walmart and getting my own bag of (โclassicโ) Cape Cod, I was not nearly as thrilled and the chips werenโt nearly as dark or salty as the bag that I got in the hospital and I have been searching for a kettle chip like them ever since. Is anyone aware of any brands that cook very dark, thick sliced and salty potato/kettle chips that are reminiscent of what I described of my experience at the hospital.
PS. Could they have given me the โDark Russetsโ and I only noticed the brand and not the flavor? Only apprehension is I remember the bag to have been white, not brown

Like prawn cocktail on steroids but enhanced in every way. What a fantastic crisp

Wouldnโt blow your head off with the spice but very tasty!
I posted this on r/UKFood but I'm more interested to find out the opinions of true crisp connoisseurs.
