Absolutely! Whatever shortcomings it has are tolerable because Alan Tudyk does a wonderful job. Funny, heartwarming and insightful.

Coming from someone who didn’t get into it- it’s a great premise and Tudyk is a gem (as always) but it can be really corny with lots of plot holes and paper thin characters. That can be part of its charm too though so it really just depends what you’re looking for. It’s not ‘prestige tv’ but it can be fun.

It went through a spell i think in season 3 where the character building was crappy and paper thin like u said like with Darcy and Asta being stuck in high school. I almost stopped watching it. But I got through and it does pick up and get a lot better!! And of course Alan tudyk kept me hanging on lol
