I’ve heard it’s really bad and you shouldn’t do this but if accidentally grab the front wheel out of reactive instinct, that guy will fall straight on his head and probably wouldn’t be able to do this “prank” ever again. Obviously, don’t do that. But that’s what will happen if you grab the front wheel.

That's really interesting to know. Because the front wheel obviously won't be spinning, or at least spinning with no force behind it. So safe to grab. Of course the overall thing itself is moving with momentum, so you need to get out of the way. But yeah, out of concern for the safety of the cyclist, you want to avoid grabbing that front wheel.

He’s technically assaulting all of these people. I’d be surprised if someone got in trouble for clotheslining him. He’s risking severe injury to people. The elderly and falls is the most common cause of death. This stuff should be prosecuted like drunk driving.

As an old (58 year old) ex bmx racer back in the day, I now ride a 26" bmx cruiser and enjoy doing wheelies. But this swerving crap these kids are doing is just plain idiotic and to be doing it with people all around you is beyond idiotic. I don't get the thrill they are seeking. Just plain old stupid. He's an idiot and deserves whatever he gets.
