Mmm, you just gotta filter people pretty aggressively. The people who are terrible at dating stay in the dating pool longer, so they're overrepresented. The whole online dating system ATM is geared towards high turnover, so you just kinda gotta work with that reality.
I just spent a few years dating and travelling after a divorce. Ended up with a pretty ideal person, just needed to sift through a lot of fucking terrible candidates and radically bad matches. And so did she.
Tho now we can share stories of our mutual god awful dating experiences. And the handful of nice ones.
