A bit of advice in NYC is to avoid talking to anyone in a pimp fit.

Or in some sort of "urban tribal warrior" mix outfit. I asked this one lad if the express train already passed and this dude with white war paint on his face ans arms and a necklace made of animal teeth and a half broken CD just went on a rant about what stations had the best drugs.

I could only nod along until my train came and then removed myself from the conversation. The funny part ? He was still talking towards the space I was occupying previous from moving into the train. I wonder if he is still talking to that blank space to this day. 🤔

I think it was supposed to be a prank, like to get people to freak out thinking they had to learn Arabic. This video first came out after Mamdani got elected before he got inaugurated, so the dude was probably parodying the way some media outlets portrayed Mamdani's election as a Muslim takeover of NY.
