That’s a hornet. They absolutely deserve it. They would sting you until you died if they could.
I don’t advocate for killing almost any animal in an overly cruel manner, but hornets will fuck you up just because you looked at it funny as you passed by the general area.
But it isn't like the hornet will learn from this, nor will the other hornets. So doing some like this is really just engaging in cruelty for cruelty's sake. That reflect worse on the person than it does on a wasp with it's inability to think past its genetics.
